Single Monitoring Network Taps

10/100 1x1 Copper Tap
10/100 1x1 Copper Tap
Network Tap group: Copper Taps
The diagram shows how the fail safe 1x1 Network Tap sits inline on any network providing an exact copy of the passing network traffic to a single network analyzer or IDS device.

The 10/100 1x1 copper tap allows uninterrupted pass-through of data over standard UTP copper cable. This network tap will accurately duplicate 10Mbps and 100Mbps Ethernet signals (including all data and timing errors) to the transmit-only monitoring ports.

The ZERO Delay feature ensures no loss or interruption of network data when power to the Tap fails. Multiple LEDs provide link / activity indication for easy installation and troubleshooting in the event of faulty network equipment or incorrect wiring.

10/100/1000 1x1 Copper Tap
10/100/1000 1x1 Copper Tap
Network Tap group: Copper Taps
The diagram shows how the fail safe 1x1 Network Tap sits inline on any network providing an exact copy of the passing network traffic to a single network analyzer or IDS device.

The Gigabit 1X1 Copper allows the uninterrupted pass through of full duplex data over standard UTP Category 5 copper cable. Featuring auto negotiating between 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps this Tap will duplicate the network signals (including any existing line errors) to the transmit-only monitoring ports.

The Tap's Link Safe feature will correct for any wiring errors such as pair swaps, polarity or MDI/X cabling. The tap will also propagate the network link condition, thus allowing for use in redundant link systems. Multiple LEDs provide useful speed ∓ activity indication for easy installation and troubleshooting in the event of connection to faulty network equipment.

Gigabit 1x1 LX-TX Fiber Tap
Gigabit 1x1 LX-TX Fiber Tap
Network Tap group: Converter Taps
The diagram shows how the fail safe media converter network Tap sits inline on any network providing an exact copy of the passing network traffic to a network analyzer or IDS device.

The Gigabit 1X1 LX to TX, fiber to copper converter Tap allows the uninterrupted pass through of full duplex data over standard singlemode fiber cable. Decoding the optical signals this device re-clocks the data and electronically replicates an exact copy (including line errors) to two transmit-only RJ45 monitoring ports. A user is therefore able to monitor a full duplex gigabit singlemode (1310nm) network with a gigabit copper device thereby reducing the costs to monitor a high-speed singlemode link and increasing the ROI on any copper based IDS or Analyzer.

In re-clocking the signal the Gigabit LX-TX Tap maximizes transmission quality and power throughput on both the network and monitoring streams. Multiple LEDs indicate power, link and activity status for easy installation and troubleshooting with connected network equipment.

Gigabit 1x1 TX-SX Converter Tap
Gigabit 1x1 TX-SX Converter Tap
Network Tap group: Converter Taps
The diagram shows how the fail safe media converter network Tap sits inline on any network providing an exact copy of the passing network traffic to a network analyzer or IDS device.

The Gigabit 1X1 TX to SX, copper to fiber converter Tap allows the uninterrupted pass through of full duplex data over standard UTP Cat 5 cable. Decoding the network signals this device reclocks the data and electronically replicates an exact copy (including line errors) to two transmit-only multimode monitoring ports. A user is therefore able to monitor a full duplex gigabit TX stream with a multimode monitoring device thus leveraging the monitoring flexibility and improving ROI for the MM card on the IDS and / or Analyzer.

In addition the Gigabit TX-SX Tap reclocks the data so as to maximize the signal quality and power throughput on both the network and monitoring streams. Multiple LEDs indicate power and link status for easy installation and troubleshooting with connected networking equipment.
