The Network Analyzer Tablet provides the network engineer with the ultimate portability -
with a full suite of expert protocol analysis software driven through an A4 touch screen. Based on
a Tablet PC running Windows XP with built-in 10/100 ethernet and wireless LAN interfaces,
the Network Analyser Tablet is ideal for working in confined areas, allowing the user
to carry the unit in the crook of one arm whilst working on other equipment with the other hand.
The screen may be set to either vertical portrait or horizontal landscape mode. Portrait mode
is particularly suited to simultaneous viewing of multiple analysis windows - one of the great
strengths of the Network Analyser software.
No compromises!
The Network Analyzer Tablet uses exactly the same well-proven data capture and analysis software as
the specialist hardware-based Agilent Network Analyzers. Exactly the same protocol decodes, expert
problem analysis and user interface. Like the other members of the Network Analyzer family, it will
decode over 300 LAN, WAN, ATM and voice/telephony related protocols across all seven
layers of the protocol stack.

Expert analysis. Transforms data into meaningful diagnostic information, reducing thousands
of frames down to the critical significant events, and watching continuously for a wide range of network problems.
Then it helps you to isolate problems quickly by "drilling down" from top-level summaries to more and
more detail on any event - complete with an explanation of how the event was detected, its likely causes, and what
to check next.
Statistics and vital signs. Allows you to really discover what's happening on your network
with a comprehensive set of statistics and automatic baselining and threshold setting based on observed network
activity.
Multi-tasking and easy-to-use. Truly multi-tasking, allowing you to run any combination
of tests simultaneously and arrange your screen windows to best help with the troubleshooting task in hand.

Total Flexibility!
|
The touch-sensitive tablet screen provides
an excellent interface for network troubleshooting, in either portrait or landscape mode,
but when it comes to writing reports, a keyboard is better! So the Network Analyzer Tablet incorporates
a swivel mechanism to convert into conventional laptop use. The Network Analyzer Tablet runs Windows XP
so it is possible to run multiple applications in parallel with the network analysis. Better still, the
Network Analyzer software can capture and analyse data from a network interface being used
simultaneously by another application. For example, running an application over the tablet's in-built
wireless LAN and simultaneously analysing performance.

Total compatibility!
Network Analyzer Tablet uses exactly the same software and user interface as the rest of the
Network Analyzer range, minimizing training needs and allowing data to be shared.
So whether you are troubleshooting local LAN's or complex LAN/WAN/ATM corporate backbones,
travelling to site or troubleshooting a distributed network from a central location,
you have the power of the same expert protocol analysis and the same award-winning user interface.
