emutel|Solo is a small, portable lightweight battery powered basic rate ISDN and IDSL network simulator. With 2 software switchable S/U interfaces and the choice of either Euro-ISDN, North American or NTT support, emutel|Solo allows you to test and demonstrate all types of BRI equipment on one compact unit.

By simulating the operation of a Central Office switch, emutel|Solo provides two software selectable ISDN (S 4wire / U 2wire) connections which may be used just like regular ISDN lines or employed to carry out equipment testing. Almost every feature of emutel|Solo can be customised, for example, the entire directory numbering structure can be changed. Special numbers activate network conditions such as User Busy or Call Rejected. Line power can be switched on or off and delays can even be introduced into the B channels to emulate satellite links.

emutel|Solo is also extremely easy to use with indicator LEDs showing at a glance what each terminal is doing and a windows application program allowing simple device configuration. emutel|Solo is powered from an external universal power unit or from an internal 0.8AH 12V rechargeable battery. At just 1.5 Kg emutel|Solo is easily portable and, since terminals can be powered directly from the interfaces, it really is the ideal system for use at demonstrations, presentations and exhibitions.

emutel|Duo emutel|Symphony

emutel|Duo and emutel|Symphony are convenient and flexible network simulators for both basic and primary rate ISDN.

emutel|Duo is a stand-alone unit with 3 software selectable S/U BRI interfaces and 2 optional 2 E1/T1 PRI interfaces.

emutel|Symphony is a convenient and flexible Basic Rate ISDN, Primary Rate ISDN and Analog network simulator that is ideal for product development, testing and demonstrations. With support for S, U, E1, T1 and analog interfaces all in one chassis you can use the emutel|Symphony to test and develop a full range of ISDN and analog equipment. Each chassis can support up to 18 ISDN or 32 analogue connections, or a combination such as 2 BRI, 8 PRI and 16 analogue.

emutel|Symphony has an optional comprehensive protocol analyser that allows you to decode and analyse layers 1, 2 and 3 of the D channel to varying levels of detail. You can also develop for other countries' networks using the range of support cards - choose from either Euro-ISDN, North American, NTT, VN3, 1TR6 or BTNR191.

emutel|Symphony can be managed/configured remotely using the optional internal modem for dial up management. Attach to the unit from any PC via the LAN or through the terminal connection locally to configure and monitor the system.

emutel|Virtuoso V5.1 and V5.2 local exchange simulators

emutel|Virtuoso supports both V5.1 and V5.2 protocols including PSTN, BCC, LINK, PROTECTION GROUP 1 and PROTECTION GROUP 2. Up to 8 E1 connections are available for V5.1 / V5.2 and multiple V5.1 and V5.2 can be established simultaneously.

By simulating the operation of the Local Exchange, emutel|Virtuoso provides up to 8 E1 (2.048Mbps) interfaces which can be configured with multiple V5.1 and V5.2 interfaces, allowing multiple Access Networks to be connected. emutel|Virtuoso also has the option of additional PRI, BRI and analogue cards which can be used for call generation and speech path verification.

Almost every feature of emutel|Virtuoso can be customised, for example, the telephone number, layer 3 address, timelsot (V5.1 only), signalling channel (V5.2 only), Link Layer 3 address, Protection Protocol Group 1+2, Variant and Interface ID. Special numbers activate network conditions such as the User Busy or Call Rejected. emutel|Virtuoso supports DTMF and pulse detection across the V5 systems.

emutel|Virtuoso supports the V5.1 ETS 300-324 and ETS 300-347 industry standards and provides full simulation of a V5 switch - generates dial tone, DTMF detection, switches calls to and from Access Network, connects the voice path, etc.

emutel|Virtuoso is extremely easy to use with indicator LEDs showing at a glance what each E1 V5 interface is doing and a windows application (GUI) program displaying status information for each of the ports on the Access Network. The windows application will also display the status of each link connected to the emutel|Virtuoso. Included in the windows application (GUI) is a simple to use configuration tool to setup the V5 LE ensuring compatibility with the connecting Access Network. Protocol analysis is provided which can display protocol analyser information for the V5 interface.

emutel|Virtuoso is a truly international product. By plugging in personality cards the system can accurately emulate ISDN variants across the V5.2 link in a whole range of different countries. Cards are available for BTNR 191 (UK), VN3 (France), Euro-ISDN (Europe), ITR6 (Germany), NTT (Japan) and AT&T 5ESS, National-ISDN & Nortel DMS100 (North America) on request. National PSTN mappings may be developed on request.

emutel|Maestro is a cost-effective network simulator for development, test and demonstration of DSL equipment.

The emutel|Maestro is a self-contained 2 port DSLAM simulator for ADSL, SHDSL and VDSL, and provides simulation of two Central Office DSL lines, running over an internal simulator or real analog and ISDN lines. On both, you can simultaneously connect your DSL and telephone equipment, effectively testing DSL running over copper wires in a laboratory environment.

The fully flexible design of emutel|Maestro supports different manufacturers' chipsets using independent plug-in modules. The unit can emulate different types of xDSL simultaneously and is therefore ideal for product development and product testing.

emutel|Maestro simulates the PSTN connections of many countries, enabling you to perform tests in a multi-national environment the unit is configured to simulate the analog telephone network in up to 28 countries.

The internal POTS simulator (2 ports) will accurately emulate a PSTN connection, enabling you to achieve optimum configuration settings, e.g. dial tone, ringing frequency, post tone and line voltage. emutel|Maestro also allows you to connect to an external PSTN line through ports on the front of the unit.

The DSL datasource is provided by a high speed UTOPIA level 2 interface, ATM 155 and LAN, enabling third party equipment to send and receive data from the DSL lines. In addition an internal web server allows operation in standalone mode.
